Racked and ready! Just bottled up some “cold-brew” dandelion wine. Unfortunately I’ve never used an airlock and didn’t add water to it so I’ve lost a ton of liquid from both jugs 😭 lesson learned I suppose. I’m anxious to try this wine, or what’s left of it, next year! After a three-week initial ferment, I’ll filter out the dandelion petals and re-rack for another eight week fermentation before bottling.
It took a long time to separate the petals from the green parts of the dandelion flowers. Any guesses as to what I’m making?
